How to Reach Us
Accreditation Applications
To begin an accreditation application or request an eligibility assessment, use the Apply page or email us directly. Please include your organization name and country of operation.
Membership Enquiries
For institutional membership, trainer membership or global partnership, visit the Membership page for details, or use the enquiry form above.
Verification & Registry
To verify a provider’s accreditation status, visit the Verify page. If you cannot find a provider in the registry, contact us directly.
Complaints, Appeals & Concerns
American TEFL Standards maintains a formal complaints and appeals process. We are committed to handling all complaints fairly, transparently and promptly.
Accreditation Decisions
Providers who wish to appeal an accreditation decision must submit a written appeal within 20 working days of receiving the decision. Appeals are reviewed by a panel that did not take part in the original decision.
Provider Conduct Complaints
If you believe an accredited provider has misused the ATS badge, made false quality claims or failed to maintain the standards expected of an ATS-accredited organization, please report it to ATS directly.
ATS Process Complaints
If you have a complaint about the conduct of an ATS review, evaluator behaviour or administrative handling of your case, you may submit a formal complaint to the ATS Director.
False Accreditation Claims
To report a provider falsely claiming ATS accreditation, use the contact form above and select “Badge policy” as the subject. All reports are investigated within 10 working days.
All formal complaints must be submitted in writing to info@americantefl.com with “Formal Complaint” in the subject line. Anonymous complaints will be received but may be limited in the actions that can be taken.
